Working student / Intern in advanced development of power electronics (m/w/d)

What's the role?

We are looking for an open-minded and curious student (m/f/d) from electrical engineering, embedded systems, or comparable fields of study. We are looking for a tinkerer for hardware development tasks who wants to take on new challenges and would like to solve them through simulation.

What does the role involve?

You will support the development team for electronics predevelopment in further developing our options for simulating power electronics. Particular attention is paid to the integration of parasitic properties of circuit boards into the simulation with PathWave ADS PEPro. You independently create and expand simulation models to reproduce disruptive influences and compare them with measurement results from the electronic
laboratory.

We have 800 of the world’s best engineers developing and testing tomorrow’s technical solutions in our innovation center in Liechtenstein and Kaufering.

What you need is:

• Studies in the field of electronic engineering / embedded systems
• Experience in spice simulation (LT-Spice, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink or PathWave ADS)
• Experience with electronic circuit design
• Prior knowledge of file version management (e.g. Git) desirable
• Independent working style
• Very good knowledge of English
