GOLDBECK SOLAR is a leading provider of turnkey solar systems on commercial roofs and ground mounted utility scale PV power plants. With our team of dedicated employees, we develop, plan, build, operate and finance photovoltaic systems in Germany, Europe and worldwide - tailor-made with a standardized approach.

What you can expect:

As a Managing Director (m/f/d), you will be responsible for building up our internal assembly capacities for large-scale (>30 MW), ground-mounted solar plants with the focus on Germany, Poland, Austria and the Netherlands, similar to activities we developed within our North American markets. We define ‘assembly capacities’ to include the following activities: Ramming, mechanical installation, civil & electrical works, commissioning & quality control. You will oversee setting up the organization and hiring of staff as an intrapreneur / entrepreneur-in-residence.

Tasks:

• Initiate the organization and strive for scaling-up
• Refine and take accountability of the business plan
• Reach certain ramp-up targets in terms of construction capacities
• Supervise and coordinate internal staff and subcontractors
• Control deliveries, quality, quantity, and advancements
• Monitor project performance and ensure that it stays within its timeframe and budget
• Communicate with all relevant stakeholders
• Engage with subcontractors on change and claim management

Profile:

• Successfully completed degree in engineering or a successfully completed apprenticeship in the technical field or assembly area
• Long-term professional experience as a senior manager in solar industries with relevant entrepreneurial or leadership experience
• Business fluent English language skills
• Great interest in renewable energies
• Confident and professional appearance
• Customer- and details-oriented way of working
• Reliable network necessary to set-up such an endeavor
