What you can expect:

We are seeking an Investment Associate (m/f/d) for project development in various stages and buy-side M&A projects. The role includes the analysis (commercial, regulatory and technical) of project opportunities, its presentation to the Investment Council and managing the projects through the development process. Part of responsibility includes the preparation of EPC and OM contracts for the project execution.


  • Support buy-side M&A for project development opportunities
  • Conduct valuations of individual projects and portfolios
  • Analysis (commercial, regulatory, technical) of project opportunities
  • Support in preparation and negotiation (commercial and technical) of EPC and O&M contracts with contractors
  • Structure and support due diligence processes including the preparation and management of data rooms
  • Management of internal and external project development partners during the entire development cycle


  • Completed master's degree in economics, finance, environmental planning or equivalent
  • At least two years of professional experience in a related field
  • Experience with the creation and evaluation of financial models
  • Initial experience with EPC and O&M contracts as well as with M&A projects
  • Very good English and German language skills, ideally additional Spanish language skills
  • Structured and conscientious way of working
  • Strong solution orientation and sense of responsibility
