CAD Design Engineer (m/f/d) Italian market

What you can expect:

We are seeking a CAD Design Engineer (m/f/d) from July 2024 for our entry into the Italian photovoltaic market. In this role you will be responsible for quotation and implementation planning using CAD and creating these for our photovoltaic systems. We offer you the opportunity to actively contribute your ideas in order to continuously develop our planning processes and our own substructure systems.

Tasks:

• Prepare quotations and detailed execution drawings (AutoCAD) for photovoltaic power plants (utility scale ground-mounted systems) for the Italian photovoltaic market
• Clarify technical issues with sales engineers, construction and project managers, suppliers, authorities and other project shareholders
• Creation of the scope of works and designing of ground-mounted utility scale systems, considering applicable standards
• Preparation of parts lists and mass measurements
• Support in the further development of our planning processes and systems

Profile:

• Successfully completed training as draftsman / construction technician or studies in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or architecture
• Alternatively, you have already worked as a construction or technical draftsman, technical system planner, CAD designer or CAD design engineer
• At least two years of professional experience in the planning of photovoltaic systems
• Good user knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D or similar are necessary, good user knowledge of PV-specific planning tools such as PVCase, Helios 3D or PVSyst would be an advantage
• Fluent Italian and English language skills are mandatory
• Ideally good German language skills
• Independent and results-oriented way of working
