For our headquarters in Eberbach (Germany) we are looking for a

Senior Global Energy Manager (all genders)

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for improving industrial processes in order to maximize efficiency and productivity while minimizing waste and costs, focusing on energy related topics
  • Evaluation and optimization of existing processes and technologies with strong focus on Energy related topics
  • Conduct research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing
  • Assess and research existing site energy usage to identify areas of improvement
  • Perform energy balance calculations, conceptual designs, and project cost estimates supporting the development & implementation of energy related projects
  • Assist with feasibility and assessment studies as well as conduct site walk-throughs of current technologies
  • Lead local/global energy audits, providing advice and expertise support to plants worldwide, ensuring knowledge sharing of best practices, technologies, processes, and developments on energy related topics
  • Identify opportunities of new, green technologies
  • Responsible for ISO 50001 management system

Your profile:

  • Engineering degree (Bachelor, Masters, Dipl. Ing.) in Process, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical
  • Minimum work experience of 3 years in Food, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Power /Utility Industries
  • Very good knowledge in project management and ISO 50001, expertise in heat pumps is advantageous
  • Fundamental understanding of industrial plant processes and equipment, preferably related to energy and utilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as organizational skills
  • Enjoy working in a cross-cultural and functional team
  • Fluent English skills (C-1 Level); good German skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30 %)
