Manager Customs, Foreign Trade and Excise Taxes (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Consulting in the area of Customs, Foreign Trade and Excise Tax law for assigned domestic and foreign Group Entities, e.g. for ordinary and extraordinary business transactions, Customs procedures, applications to BAFA, Customs and Foreign Trade audits, M&A transactions / restructurings
  • Conducting Internal Customs / Export Control Audits for assigned Group Entities in EU and with support from consultants in other EMEA countries
  • Support of the assigned Group Entities in aspects of the Compliance Management System (e.g. process descriptions, organizational instructions)
  • Conducting employee training centrally in Weinheim or, on request, individually at the assigned Group Entities
  • Provision of information relevant to Customs, Foreign trade and Excise Tax law in the Freudenberg Portal

Qualifications

  • You have a degree in law or economics, completed training in the senior service of the Customs administration or a comparable educational background
  • You have about 3 years of professional experience in Customs and Foreign Trade related topics
  • SAP knowledge and IDEA skills are desirable
  • You have an independent way of working, which is characterized by service-oriented thinking
  • Your communication skills are excellentYou are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
