Process- and Order Manager (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Complete customer support from order acceptance and processing to delivery of the consignment to the customer (single point of contact)
  • Daily updated entry of orders in the ERP system, taking into account the payment and delivery terms, the shipping method and packaging regulations as well as the respective country-specific customs and import regulations
  • Independently checking incoming orders and initiating any necessary corrections in direct contact with customers or with the respective country sales representatives
  • Coordinating delivery dates according to customer requirements through intensive communication with all internal departments involved
  • Ensuring the timely allocation of goods and proactive action in all matters in order to fulfil customer requirements while taking our corporate goals into account.
  • Checking documentary payment transactions (processing of letters of credit)
  • Focus on continuous process improvements, digitalisation potential and development of best practices in the entire customer order process chain to increase performance and further develop the department.
  • Developing and refining operational core processes
  • Analysis and optimisation of the ordering behaviour of our national companies
  • Developing, analysing and documenting key figures within the supply chain in cooperation with related departments and our national companies.
  • Support for necessary process introductions in the national companies

Qualifications

  • Degree in logistics, business administration, supply chain management, industrial engineering or equivalent
  • Professional experience in logistics or SCM
  • Very good knowledge of SAP (mainly module SD) and MS Office
  • Good project management skills
  • Process-optimised, project-related and solution-oriented work
  • High level of personal responsibility and self-motivation
  • Analytical way of thinking
  • Structured, target- and deadline-orientated and independent way of working
  • Flexibility
  • Intercultural competence and team spirit
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
