Finance Business Partner Europe (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Active participation in the newly formed Chem-Trend Europe Finance Business Partner Team
  • Internal Consulting: Building strong partnerships between Controlling and other functional areas of the company
  • Supporting management in all strategic and business management issues, as well as collaboration in change management projects
  • Close cross-functional cooperation at the Maisach Site and at the Norderstedt Production Site
  • Central point of contact and intensive collaboration with our Finance Shared Services Center (SSC) in Porto
  • Implementation of change and efficiency projects with the aim of process optimization on a local and regional basis
  • Developing and establishing meaningful key figures and new analysis templates and tools for results management (business analytics / AI)
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as operational and strategic planning
  • Business evaluations as well as target/actual comparisons and ad hoc analyses as a basis for management decisions
  • Implementation of product cost calculation
  • Active support in the annual financial statements (IFRS / HGB) in cooperation with the SSC and the auditors Networking with all FCS Business Partners

Qualifications

  • Competed degree in economics, specializing in finance / controlling
  • At least 3 years experience in controlling
  • Problem-solving oriented way of working
  • Confident and winning manner and a high degree of initiative
  • Independent, analytical and structured way of working with a high level of quality awareness
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting in accordance with IFRS
  • Very good knowledge of the SAP FI/CO application
  • Experience in the use of MS products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ideally initial practical experience with MS Power BI and Oracle Hyperion Financial Management
