Global Project Engineer - Electroplating Decorative (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Installation of processes and maintenance of existing lines at customers
  • Beta site trials with new processes/products
  • Sustainable engineering of the existing product range through independent initiation and coordination of optimization measures
  • Continuous further development and improvement measures as well as identification and implementation of cost reduction potentials
  • Provision of technical data for marketing documents
  • Regional monitoring and implementation of globally standardized product specifications for Global Core Range products in cooperation with the Global Product Manager
  • Initiation and management of product innovations
  • Supporting the market segments in defining product policy and positioning

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from a university in Chemical / Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or alike
  • 3-5 years of experience in new product development and managing product applications; preferably in Decorative Electroplating
  • Enthusiasm for global collaboration, great team spirit and problem-solving oriented
  • Good presentation skills and intellectual power
  • Excellent communication and conflict management skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent user knowledge of MS Office products, Auto CAD & SolidWorks
  • Fluent in German and English language, additional languages welcome
