Development Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Processing of R&D projects in the field of decorative electroplating technology
  • Responsible for product development including scale-up through to series production for the customer
  • Planning and carrying out laboratory tests
  • Characterization of coating properties using internal methods and at external institutes
  • Participation in training courses at international level, presentations and publications

Qualifications

  • Degree in chemistry, chemical process engineering or surface technology; 2-5 years of experience in the field of decorative electroplating are desirable; or technician, master craftsman with relevant professional experience in decorative electroplating
  • Experience in the development of electroplating processes
  • Structured, analytical way of working
  • Enjoy practical laboratory work
  • Very good powers of observation
  • Creativity and a love of discovery
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good written and spoken English skills
