The filling of the position is in principle also possible in job sharing.

Duties and responsibilities

  • You define and perform software tests of medical devices, in particular embedded systems - accompanying projects from conception to launch
  • As Test Engineer (f/m/d) – Medical Devices you define hardware or simulated test environments and test strategies for connected devices
  • You are responsible for managing test infrastructure and execution
  • You discover and formulate test specifications based on product requirements as well as on normative and regulatory requirements
  • As Test Engineer (f/m/d) – Medical Devices you perform systematic testing and organize/manage load and penetration testing
  • You develop methods and tools for structured and efficient testing - including test automation
  • You write test plans and test reports as part of the technical documentation
  • You work in an interdisciplinary project team and you will be part of the B. Braun developer community
  • You take broad responsibility for the verification and validation process and significantly contribute to the progress of projects
  • To ensure the quality of implementation and documentation, you will perform code and document reviews and lead the validation of development tools, libs, etc.

Professional competencies

  • You have a degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering or several years of professional experience in activities relevant to the job offered
  • You are passionate about testing
  • You have good knowledge of software development and the complete software lifecycle (specification, implementation, test, deployment, maintenance) in a regulated environment, preferably for medical devices
  • Knowledge regarding IEC 62304, IEC 60601 and IEC 81001 and other relevant standards is a plus
  • You set high standards for quality at the same time enjoy finishing tasks on time
  • You are business fluent in written and spoken English and have ideally a good command of German
  • Enthusiasm for high-tech medical products rounds up your profile
