As part of our technological strategy, we are currently looking for new support for our digital team. With more than 370 dialysis centers serving 28,000 patients, our focus is on developing a medical software "Nexadia" that makes the day-to-day life of medical staff easier.
Our vision is to completely redevelop the previously self-hosted systems for the cloud. This project will be developed using agile (SAFe) methodologies and complex technologies, including MS Azure, IoT Hub, Edge components, Docker, and more.
Due to the complex interplay of our hardware systems, which include dialysis machines and scales, our team will regularly work on-site in Melsungen.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious project that will positively influence not just dialysis treatment, but also the entire digitalization strategy of B. Braun. Your commitment will contribute to creating a software solution that improves the workflow of nursing staff and enables them to focus on patient care.
In your new role as a Frontend Developer (f/m/d), you are responsible for developing the frontend of our dialysis software "Nexadia." This includes the development of dashboards, menus, forms, and coordination with various technology teams. You will be developing agilely with modern technologies and are an essential part of the project.

Duties and responsibilities

• Developing and implementing new features for our dialysis software Nexadia.
• Driving the migration of existing systems into the Azure Cloud.
• Collaborating with the B. Braun Cloud "Digital Foundation" on the basic settings of Azure AD, IoT Hub, and other technologies.
• Working on Edge components to ensure machine connection with certificate authentication.
• Agile development with technologies like .Net, C#, Microsoft Azure, Edge, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Conducting regular physical tests in Melsungen to check the functionality of the dialysis machines.
• Close collaboration with frontend developers, UX designers, and external junior developers.
• Participating in the onboarding process in Berlin for 1-2 months.
• Providing support and coaching, as well as sharing knowledge with other team members.
• Promoting agile methods to improve collaboration, efficiency, and adaptability in project management and delivery.

Professional competencies

• Several years of practical experience in the development of robust and scalable systems.
• At least three years of experience with Angular, alternatively React, Vue, or similar.
• Several years of experience with TypeScript.
• Know-how in database modeling, commonly used database technologies, and trends.
• A strong understanding of data structures and efficient database design.
• You produce clean and high-quality software code with a focus on maintainability and efficiency.
• Understanding of cloud-native systems and best practices.
• Fluent in English/German, able to effectively express ideas.
