The Strategic Assistant acts as a trusted sparring partner to the to the Executive Board Member Operations & Logistics / Managing Director Italy. The role combines executive coordination, strategic analysis, and hands-on project support, thus enabling fact-based decision-making and effective execution across the PHOENIX group. The position is to be filled at our headquarters in Mannheim.

Your Tasks

  • Report directly to the Executive Board Member Operations & Logistics of PHOENIX group / Managing Director Italy
  • Support the Executive Board Member with all business activities: provide reliable analysis, develop conceptual ideas and offer straightforward solutions for day-to-day business activities
  • Coordinate and create presentations for top management meetings, as well as external conferences
  • Act as an interface between the central departments & local managements within PHOENIX group
  • Lead or support group-wide, interdepartmental projects in operative business and strategic areas
  • Recognize focus points, opportunities & risks for business on the basis of market and KPI analysis

Your Profile

  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience; Consulting or Logistics background or prior professional role in pharmaceutical sector is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, analytical skills as well as an independent and goal-oriented way of working
  • Fully proficient with MS Office suite
  • Professional and friendly manner, absolute reliability and discretion when dealing with confidential information concerning senior management topics
  • High degree of commitment, flexibility and assertiveness
  • Willingness for European wide business travel
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written; Italian and German is beneficial
