Intern – Learning & Development in Global Manufacturing (m/f/x)

As part of our Human Resources team in Global Manufacturing, you will play a key role in bringing our employee onboarding and competency-building framework to the next level. This internship will give you an understanding of Hilti’s Global Manufacturing products - and the opportunity to explore how we can make the onboarding experience both engaging and growth-oriented for employees
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months.

What You'll do

Are you passionate about Learning & Development and eager to make a real impact across a global organization? We’re looking for a motivated HR & Learning Development Intern to support two high-impact people initiatives across our plants in Mexico, China, Germany, and Liechtenstein. This role offers hands-on experience in strategic HR work, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and exposure to how talent development drives business success.
1. Support in creating a global qualification framework that defines required skills and trainings for technical and leadership roles. Work with HR, department leaders, and subject-matter experts to identify competencies and training requirements.
2. Support the design and rollout of a structured onboarding experience for new hires - both technical contributors and leaders.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders in Quality, Engineering, Production, and HR to build an onboarding journey that accelerates readiness and engagement.
This role offers the perfect blend of learning, challenge, and excitement, allowing you to develop your skills in a multinational environment while playing a pivotal role in shaping Learning and Development in Global Manufacturing.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor or Master student in Human Resources or business field
• Well organized and structured approach to work
• Excellent on MS products such as Excel and Power Point
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills (in English)
• Proactive and execution-focused
