Strategic & Global Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

As one of Europe’s leading providers of premium private label healthcare products and licensed medicines, we offer a broad range of high-performance food supplements, medical devices, cosmetics, medicines, and personal care products. We are active in 21 countries and currently provide over 400 products across a number of premium brands – both our own and the private label brands of our customers.

At PXG pharma GmbH we are looking for a Strategic & Global Procurement Manager (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Mannheim.

Your Tasks

• Define and implement the sourcing strategy for private label products, with strong focus on gaining synergies and cost savings.
• Manage supplier relationships, including scouting for new suppliers worldwide and tracking performance of existing ones based on defined KPIs.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers of private label products, including full management of tendering process.
• Responsible for contract negotiation and management, including onboarding requirements for new suppliers.
• Gather needs and requirements for private label product sourcing.
• Support on the supplier qualification process.
• Secure competitive prices for PXG’s assortment.
• Close collaboration with key stakeholders within PXG, such as Business Development and Operations

Your Profile

• University degree in Business Administration or in a related field
• Ideally, several years of relevant work experience in global procurement
• Ability to perform in a dynamic environment, across different cultures
• Analytical and strategic mind-set with strong negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills and abilities to align tasks and processes in an international matrix organization.
• Fluent in English, additional European languages capabilities is a plus
