Would you like to play an active role in the development and improvement of modern cereal varieties and support the breeding process from the very beginning?
Then join our team as a Seed Breeding Employee Plant Breeding & Field Trials (m/f/d) at KWS Lochow GmbH at our breeding station in Bergen-Wohlde .

This is a permanent , full-time position to be filled as soon as possible.

What you can look forward to:

• Operating tractors and harvesting machinery on trial and production fields
• Carrying out maintenance work in breeding nurseries
• Processing and preparing seed for trial and seed multiplication areas
• Data collection and crop assessments in the field, storage facilities, and greenhouse
• Cleaning and inspecting cereal seed multiplication plots
• Performing crossing activities in the greenhouse and in the field
• Supporting projects and assisting with documentation
• Training and supervising seasonal workers during the season
• Occasional national and international business travel (approximately 10%)

Bring your strengths:

• Completed vocational training as a farmer, plant technician, or a comparable qualification
• Valid Class B driver's license; additional license categories (BE, CE, or T) are an advantage
• Confident use of MS 365 and common PC applications
• Reliable and independent working style, strong teamwork skills, and a high level of responsibility and initiative
• Good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to perform practical field work under changing weather conditions and to work additional hours during the peak season (May to October)
