Where Plans Become Real Progress

As a Content Operational Specialist Intern, you will support the daily operations of Hilti’s global Content Hub. Your work will focus on metadata quality, asset approvals, first level user support, and ensuring smooth content governance across systems. You will also contribute to maintaining content standards and documentation to support consistent processes across global teams. This internship position is available as soon as possible and runs for 6–12 months.

What You'll do

In this role, you will support the daily operations of Hilti’s global Content Hub by reviewing metadata, approving global assets, and ensuring all submissions follow the correct processes. You will manage the DAM inbox, JIRA tickets, provide clear and actionable feedback to users, and follow up on incorrect or incomplete requests to guide them toward the right procedures.
You will act as the first level of user support, resolving common issues related to metadata, missing asset visibility in PDP, search and collection functionalities, or user permission questions. You will assist users with process related queries, such as how to upload or update assets, when to involve global review, and how to navigate project spaces, templates, and roles.
When issues cannot be resolved at first level, you will clearly document the case and assign it to the MarTech team. Throughout your work, you will rely on strong communication, problem solving, and a service oriented mindset to support users across the organization, maintain and monitor high content quality and governance standards. You will also support the documentation and continuous improvement of content processes, identify recurring user issues, and contribute insights that help optimize workflows and metadata standards. In addition, you may assist in supporting basic reporting related to asset usage, metadata completeness, or operational requests.

What You’ll Bring

To help you succeed, we will provide you with everything you need so that we are driving impact together from day one. You’ll find a stable working environment, exceptional support, learning and development, and a great team around you. Here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • Interest in digital asset management, metadata quality, and global content governance.
  • Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot user issues and identify root causes.
  • Experience or willingness to learn CMS tools (Content Management System tools) and content workflows.
  • Clear communication skills and a service oriented mindset when supporting users.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing metadata and asset submissions.
