Location: Kaufering (near Munich) | Hybrid (up to 50% remote) | Full-Time but Part-time (30–32h/week) possible
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about embedded software development and enjoys applying control engineering in practice. You will work at the intersection of software and physical systems, turning algorithms into real-world performance.
As an Embedded Software Engineer with a background in motor control, you will develop and implement software for electric drive systems. A key part of your role will be applying control engineering principles and translating them into efficient, reliable embedded code.
This position focuses on software development first, with control engineering as a critical foundation.
Your responsibilities:
Develop embedded software for motor control applications
Implement control algorithms based on control engineering principles
Translate system and control concepts into production-ready code
Analyze, test, and optimize control performance
Work closely with a collaborative, cross-functional team
Contribute to technical decisions and system design
