Senior Manager Corporate Controlling (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of the monthly/ quarterly report for the Group and the Business groups, performance of regular and special analysis of business KPIs, critical appraisal of the numbers, elaboration of recommendations for management decisions, including regular presentation/ interaction with the Group CFO
  • Lead (project) teams, contribute and represent the department in complex cross-functional and multidimensional projects in alignment with the Director Controlling and further stakeholders
  • Contribution to the operative and strategic planning and strategy controlling, critical appraisal of the Business Group numbers and coordination of planning/ Controlling processes for the Group.
  • Responsible for performing/ reviewing economic evaluation of big investments ensuring compliance with internal guidelines
  • Act as the appointed primary contact for the Business Groups and perform operational controlling tasks and projects from Business Groups or Vorstand on demand
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual report, presentations, press releases and global partners' meetings
  • Development and continuous upgrade of group-wide controlling methods, business management KPIs, systems and standards and the global Controlling and Reporting guidelines, set- up of process documentations and manuals, provide guidance and trainings to Business Groups on demand
  • Co-Responsible for development and implementation of group-wide controlling methods, systems and standards and for maintaining and further development of the global Reporting and Investment guidelines

Qualifications

  • Completed university degree in economics, business administration or industrial engineering (Master), preferably PhD/ MBA
  • Well-founded, more than 5 years professional experience in operational controlling
  • Experience in Corporate Controlling of multinational corporations and in external accounting as well as with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Confident handling of strategic concepts and organizational models, strong conceptual and problem solving skills
  • Very good analytical and organizational skills, pronounced understanding of figures and proven Business acumen in Freudenberg relevant sectors
  • Fluency in English, MS Office, SAP and HFM knowledge, experience in state-of the art business data analytics software and relevant low/no code as well as methodological knowledge in Lean-Admin would be an advantage
  • Proven skills in managing complex topics and projects, strategic thinking, deep understanding of cross-functional business processes and workflows
  • Outstanding willingness to work hard, self-initiative, sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently as well as in teams
