Hybrid Work
You will begin your career in an in-house tax environment and support an experienced direct tax team on national and international income tax and transfer pricing matters. In doing so, you will develop practical expertise in income taxes, IFRS, and digital tax processes.

Entry-Level Direct Tax Specialist (f/m/d)
Responsibilities
- You assist in preparing income tax returns and e-balance sheets, as well as reviewing tax assessments, withholding taxes, and capital gains taxes for the German group companies
- You contribute to the determination, calculation, and review of current and deferred income taxes in quarterly reporting (IFRS) - including tax packs (HFM) for domestic and foreign companies
- You monitor tax deadlines and tax payments and assist with tax audits
- You contribute to transfer pricing matters, e.g., by preparing documentation, guidelines and analyses
- You actively drive the digitalization of processes in the income tax area, e.g. with the introduction of digital deadline monitoring
- You support the Tax Team with organizational and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- You hold a degree in finance and taxation (e.g., corporate taxation, accounting, or business law) or have completed training as a tax clerk or tax specialist
- Previous practical experience, such as through internships or a part-time student job, is a plus
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office; initial experience with DATEV, ELSTER, or SAP is a plus
- Personally, you are characterized by a structured approach to work, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to work well in a team
- You have very good German language skills (min. C1) as well as good to very good written and spoken English skills
