Developer or Process Engineer in microencapsulation (f/m/d)
Responsibilities
- Development: Independently develope microcapsules formulations and microencapsulation processes.
- Analysis: Evaluate results against prescribed guidelines, standards, and internal quality criteria.
- Testing: Plan and run lab tests (e.g., chemical and mechanical properties) and document them transparently.
- Problem-solving: Identify root causes in standardized to moderately complex cases and implement pragmatic corrective actions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Application Engineering, Procurement, and Sales while continuously building process and customer knowledge.
- Knowledge sharing: Explain complex topics clearly and provide informal onboarding support to new team members.
- Commercial focus: Balance cost, quality, and time-to-market, aligning your work with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in (Technical) Chemistry or Chemical Engineering—or equivalent experience.
- Expertise: Fundamentals of chemical processes and formulations in microencapsulation is an advantage.
- Experience: Hands-on experience and application testing (from early to solid level).
- Methods: Comfortable with lab routines incl. test planning, data evaluation,and documentation.
- Languages: Very good German (spoken and written); good English skills.
- Work style: Independent, structured, quality- and safety-conscious; team-oriented with a strong learning mindset.
