As a Data Product Manager, you will own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of data products that support financial reporting, digital commerce insights, and operational analytics. You will translate business needs into data models, pipelines, and analytics platforms that users can trust—driving C&A toward a culture of evidence‐based decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone with strong data engineering capabilities, proven BI & analytics experience, and a grounding in finance operations.

Your responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy

  • Define and own the strategy for financial and people data products, ensuring alignment with C&A’s broader digital transformation.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into actionable roadmaps and measurable product KPIs grounded in business value.

Data Product Development

  • Partnering with engineering and platform counterparts on the steering and evolution of reliable data pipelines, semantic models, and analytics layers leveraging modern analytic approaches and technology.
  • Validate assumptions in rapid, iterative feedback loops to ensure products are functional, scalable, and user‐centric.

Execution & Delivery

  • Own and manage backlog prioritization, sprint cycles, and roadmap execution, collaborating closely with data engineering, platform and business teams.
  • Partner with cross‐functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery with strong alignment and autonomy.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary bridge between business leaders and technical teams—ensuring clarity of requirements, trust in data, and transparency in delivery.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and achievements across the organization with exceptional clarity and confidence.
  • Facilitate transparency in the feedback of the usability, applicability and value of data products.

What you bring

Technical & Analytical Expertise

  • Strong experience in data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT design, data modeling, validation frameworks, data reliability, and pipeline orchestration.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems and use data to drive product decisions and growth.

Business & Finance Acumen

  • Experience in financial reporting, commercial analytics, or accounting processes—ideally supporting leadership‐level reporting needs.
  • Ability to translate financial/business KPIs into scalable data products that enhance transparency and decision speed.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Strong communicator with experience engaging engineering teams, commercial stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage parallel initiatives, and deliver reliably under pressure.
  • Demonstrated success working in international, cross‐functional environments.

Education & Background

  • Bachelor's degree in business, data science, engineering, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
  • Relevant experience in Product Management, Data Engineering, Analytics, or BI Development.
