Sales Management Assistant (m/f/d)

To support our Corn & Sunflower Business Unit, we are looking for a Sales Assistant (m/f/d) . In this role, you will support sales operations across various international markets, including Japan, China, New Zealand, Indonesia, and other countries in Asia. You will act as a key contact for contract administration, order processing, logistics coordination, and commercial support activities.

This is a part-time position (50%, approximately 19 hours per week) with flexible working hours.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and process contracts for commercial, trial, and parental corn and sunflower seeds, as well as license contracts ensuring all agreements and amendments are prepared in compliance with company and legal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations, including customer checks against sanctions lists and adherence to company policies in all business processes.
• Coordinate and monitor sales orders in SAP and other relevant systems, including accurate entry, tracking, and invoicing orders for seeds and related products.
• Oversee logistics and shipments by collaborating with production and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of seeds and materials to customers across the respective countries.
• Support budget planning and cost monitoring by assisting in the preparation of forecasts, tracking expenditures, and ensuring correct cost allocation in collaboration with accounting.
• Organize and coordinate business trips, and visit programs for staff and customers, including travel arrangements, accommodation, and event logistics.
• Provide administrative support to sales teams, freelancers, and customers, ensuring efficient and effective transactional processes.
• Initiate and implement process improvements by developing and applying KPIs and other measurement tools to enhance efficiency and achieve organizational goals.
• Assist in office management activities, including travel management, office supplies, and mail processing, to support smooth daily operations for HoR.

Your Profile

• Completed commercial training or degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
• Experience in sales support, order management, customer service, or a similar commercial function.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident user of SAP and MS Office applications.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive working style.
• Fluent in English or German; additional language skills are an advantage.
