Sales Manager Polyurethane DACH (f/m/d)
Responsibilities
- Business ownership: You drive revenue, margin and sustainable growth of the Polyurethane business across the DACH region.
- Sales strategy: You develop and execute the regional sales strategy in line with the European growth plan and expand the sales territory.
- Team leadership: You lead, coach and develop the regional sales team and guide distributors and agents to achieve commercial targets.
- Key account management: You build and expand strategic customer relationships and negotiate with decision-makers and senior management.
- Customer engagement: You maintain a strong market presence through regular customer visits, hands-on support during product trials and close technical collaboration.
- Market development: You identify new market opportunities, secure product approvals and establish long-term supplier positions with key customers.
- Cross-functional collaboration: You work closely with Technology, Laboratory, Marketing and Operations to ensure a competitive and future-oriented product portfolio.
Qualifications
- Industry experience: Several years of proven experience in technical sales within the Polyurethane industry.
- Leadership experience: Ideally, you have initial experience leading and developing sales teams, preferably in an international or matrix organization.
- Commercial mindset: Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute sales plans and deliver measurable results.
- Key account expertise: Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing complex customer relationships at senior level.
- Channel management: Experience managing and developing distributor and agent networks.
- Business acumen: Solid understanding of margin management, budgeting and performance indicators.
- Languages and mobility: Fluent German and English skills and willingness to travel regularly within the DACH region.
