As CFO Hilti Austria Ges.m.b.H, you will be a member of the Executive Management Team and play a key role in steering one of Hilti's most successful market organizations. You will shape strategic decisions, influence business performance, and help define the future direction of the organization.
This role offers the opportunity to think beyond a local market perspective. You will work closely with senior leaders across our international finance network, contribute to cross-market initiatives, and gain broad exposure to strategic topics that extend far beyond Austria.

What You'll do

Own the company's financial steering and performance management processes, including forecasting, investment prioritization, and value creation initiatives.

• Lead and develop a high-performing organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
• Oversee a broad portfolio spanning FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Risk Management, Compliance, Procurement, Customer Care, and operational support functions.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, digitalization, automation, and cross-functional transformation initiatives.
• Act as the key point of contact for auditors, banks, tax advisors, legal partners, and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk management while enabling business agility and sustainable growth.
• Lead company-wide projects and strategic initiatives that enhance business performance and organizational effectiveness.
• Develop future finance talent and strengthen the succession pipeline through coaching, mentoring, and people development.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues across Hilti to share best practices, contribute to strategic initiatives, and help shape the future of the Finance function.

What You’ll Bring

We're looking for a finance leader who combines business acumen, strategic thinking, and a passion for people development and clear ambitions for global career path.
What you’ll need to bring with you:

• A Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Strong experience in finance leadership, controlling, and accounting within an international environment, ideally also corporate finance, auditing, or consulting
• Proven track record in financial planning, performance management, and strategic business partnering
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple organizational levels
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the courage to challenge the status quo
• Fluent English and German communication skills
• The ambition and flexibility to pursue a global career path in the future
