Team Lead Accounts Payable (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Collaboration:You lead the sub-ledger areas Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cross Services and work closely with our Shared Service Center in Eastern Europe.
  • Together with your team, you manage performance, master data, and workload related to invoices, payments, and travel expenses.
  • You are responsible for day-to-day operations as well as for periodic financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
  • Transformation:You actively drive the digitalization and automation of accounting processes, lead projects, and support S/4HANA rollouts.
  • Interfaces & Stakeholder Management: In close collaboration with IT, Tax, Purchasing, and Controlling, you act as a key user for your processes and as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors.

Qualifications

  • Qualification: Degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or a comparable qualification.
  • Core Competency: Strong expertise in accounts payable accounting as well as a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in team leadership, with an appreciative, motivating, and hands-on leadership style.
  • Change Management: You enjoy driving transformation and are able to inspire others to embrace change.
  • Experience working in Shared Service organizations within global corporate structures.
  • SAP: Very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (FI, CO, MM) and Concur.
  • Travel & Languages: Very good German (min. C1) and English (min. B2) skills, along with a willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
