What you'll do

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives related to network architecture
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing IT and OT network infrastructure to inform the design and planning process
  • Develop detailed network architecture designs tailored to project specifications, considering factors such as system integration, performance optimization, and cybersecurity
  • Create project-specific network diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans outlining proposed architectures, configurations, and resource requirements
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance during project execution, ensuring adherence to design standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to procure necessary equipment, coordinate installations, and conduct testing and validation of network implementations

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in network architecture design and implementation within project environments, with a focus on IT and OT integration
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless networking
  • Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and other OT technologies commonly used in manufacturing environments
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and tools, with demonstrated experience in coordinating complex network projects from inception to completion
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage project stakeholders
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Project+) preferred
