Your tasks

• Lead engineering teams on large, complex plant projects.
• Control of assigned projects and preparation of schedules and flowcharts.
• Check specifications and requirements for individual systems and power plant components and ensure the physical and functional integration of individual power plant systems.
• Define operational specifications (e.g. protection concepts, switching sequence plans for power plant operational transitions and operational areas) and responsibility for document management within a project.
• Assessment of temporal, economic and technical risks.
• Contact person (m/f/d) for the supervision of technical topics in the respective plant project and coordination of the interfaces to all trades (especially construction) or within a consortium.

Your profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or a comparable field of study.
• Several years of experience in the design or commissioning of hydropower plant components; relevant experience in technical project management (preferably in the hydropower plant sector) an advantage.
• CAD skills as well as knowledge in the use of SAP and MS Office.
• Fluent in French and English is a must, further language skills (e.g. German) are an advantage.
• Structured and goal-oriented approach to work contributes to adequate handling of multi-layered, dynamic projects.
• Willingness to travel worldwide on a regular basis.
