Business Segment Wall & Column

Your targets:

• Drive integrated product management for Business Segment across entire product lifecycle
• Foster product innovation & own feedback loop from markets/ customers into R&D and customer success

Your responsibilities:

Develop Business Segment product strategy

• Develop and drive execution of BU/BS product strategy aligned with PERI’s overall objectives
• Induce market research, identify customer needs and trends, and define (relevant) target markets
• Handle the end to end perspective to maximize profitability and turnover

Drive product development in R&D

• Foster cross-functional collaboration to conceptualize, plan, and execute new product development initiatives
• Gather and prioritize product requirements, define product features and specifications
• Supervising of R&D product development progress
• Understanding of customer processes on site, continuous improvement and feedback to R&D hand in hand with PAE function
• Being part of PERIs innovation initiatives. Research and analyze big construction trends, bringing foresight to the innovation process

Manage products across entire lifecycle

• PM has ownership for Product Business Plans (development and implementation of product strategy)
• Plan and coordinate launch of new products
• Product lifecycle management: Monitor product performance, analyze customer feedback and competition, optimize features, determine phase-out and timely initialize new product development for replacement
• Drive New Product Introduction incl. product and marketing documentation
• Record, store and analyze product performance on jobsite processes (Centrio & BIM)

Organize product trainings and support

• Induce product trainings (internal and external stakeholders)
• Ensure feedback loop into R&D and innovation process

Develop marketing guidelines incl. content strategy

• Develop guidelines of product value propositions
• Collaboration with Agency Team within Brand & Communications to prepare digital appearance & marketing materials for subsidiaries

Your profile:

• 5+ years of expertise in product management or sales engineer role with PERI or in the construction industry
• Technical background and experience is an advantage not a requirement
• Strong understanding of PERI’s product portfolio (with focus on wall formwork products)
• Strong understanding of jobsite processes using formwork or substitution systems
• Customer Centricity and proficiency in driving product management incl. innovation
• Ability to think strategically and develop long-term product/ R&D strategies
• English is a must have, German and other languages are benefitial.
• Hands-on mentality
• High willingness to travel worldwide (min 30%) for subsidiary and customer visits as well as market research purposes
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
