As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you help increase the speed of delivery, improve the quality/security of code, and optimize the processes of the development team. You identify and resolve bottlenecks of the development process, working with team members to improve the overall experience of developers.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP) within a cross-functional team, ensuring successful digital product rollouts.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with developers and other team members by engaging in technical discussions, asking critical questions, and offering constructive feedback to optimize processes and ensure seamless integration across the team.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines by enhancing automation for testing and deployment, contributing to faster and more reliable software releases.
- Monitor and optimize platform performance, proactively resolving issues to maintain high system reliability and efficiency.
- Implement and ensure adherence to security best practices in the cloud environment, maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Who you are
- You have significant experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP, and are proficient in using Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- You have strong expertise in OCI/Docker and Kubernetes (K8s), with familiarity in Helm being an advantage.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is a plus, and knowledge in performance engineering, particularly with Node.js, or RDBMS maintenance is beneficial.
- You understand networking concepts like DNS, TLS, VNet peering, tunnels, and have practical experience with API gateways or routing.
