YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Driving the market and customer part of the sustainable Strategy of KCS
• Understand the drivers of sustainable building through participation, networking and communicating with green associations and instances as well as customer communities and actively influence policy and trends
• Anticipate new business opportunities and sustainable must haves
• Define and ensure implementation of KCS sustainability credentials through solutions and innovations in collaboration with the global and regional product management teams and the R&D and certification team – First priorities being Full EPD certified portfolio and LCA for the full portfolio
• Initiate development of any additional services needed to support customers in the sustainable building challenges : waste management, circular economy, development of calculation tools...
• Define KCS environmental statement and targets from a market / customer perspective and work together with marketing to clearly communicate this on the market
• Drive sustainable impact by utilizing best practice, guidance as well as access to industry and business intelligence. Drives the internal customer facing competence development within product management, Marketing, R&D and operations

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor or equivalent in Marketing, Product Management with a strong sustainable background
• Min. 5 years experience in sustainable building activities – environmental consultant
• Green motivation in developing sustainability
• Understanding of customer needs but also ability to understand impact and trade offs from a supply chain side
• Holistic view of sustainability challenges and impact on our industry
• Good network to organizations like green building council etc.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Result-oriented, proactive and solution oriented working style
• Ability to transfer trends into actionable focus areas linked to growth potential and value creation
