What's the role?

As an Intern in our Sourcing Excellence Department located in Schaan, Liechtenstein, you will be part of Hilti`s global in-house consultancy team for Supply Chain Management. We provide Business Units and Plants with the tools, methods and training they need to ensure lean and sustainable operations while increasing decisional capabilities.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months

What does the role involve?

Leveraging the expertise of our international and cross-functional team, you will drive the digitalization, standardization and sustainability of the Supply Chain for Hilti entities as well as suppliers all over the globe. In this role, you will be the bridge between numerous stakeholders such as Procurement, Logistics, IT, Finance, Legal, suppliers and external consultants.
Depending on the business priorities, your profile and aspirations, you will get to lead projects such as:

  • Compliance and risk management
  • Purchasing process improvements
  • Enterprise Resource Planning integrations
  • Data science and frontier technologies (AI)
  • Life cycle assessment and operational support for sustainability
  • Training and technical support of suppliers and colleagues

What you need is:

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s program for the whole internship duration, thesis-writing students are welcome
  • Educational background or experience in: Engineering, Business, Economics, Informatics, Logistics
  • Proficiency with Office 365, knowledge of other systems is a plus
    depending on the projects: SAP, Ariba, SAP Business Network, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, PreWave, Integrity Next, Python, Matlab, SQL
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of German is a plus
