We are searching for a technical project manager (m/f/d) with passion for complex and innovative design concepts and proven skills in problem solving to steer an interdisciplinary development team, developing power tools.

What does the role involve?

In order to adress shorter product lifecycles and ensure long-term differentiation we want to expand our development team for drill drivers, impact drivers and impact wrenches. You are responsible for the technical lead of technology and development projects together with an interdisciplinary team. This responsibility includes engineering tasks like concept development, variant definition and problem solving as well as coordinating tasks like supervising of the project progress, risk management, requirement and target definitions and reporting in steering meetings. Based on a broad application and customer knowledge and identifying technology trends you contribute to our product and technology roadmaps. You are an excellent team player and are able to steer a project team consisting of various technical domains as well as international distributed locations.

Last year alone, we launched around 60 new products on the market. This also includes new services and software.

What you need is:

  • Master degree in mechanical engineering or similar and several years of industrial experience
  • Strong and proven skills in mechanical concept and design work and structured problem solving in for powertools relevant fields
  • High analytical skills and experience in planning and steering of development projects
  • Entrepreneurial and target focused way of working and strong decision making
  • Very good communication skill in English (German nice to have)
