We are looking for a Cyber Security Project Manager to join our Security team and help business-focused projects embed Cyber Security at an early stage by thinking like an attacker and applying security best practices and standards in the design and implementation phases.

Senior Cyber Security Project Manager (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • As a Cyber Security Project Manager you will design and implement secure architectures in line with the Freudenberg Cyber Security architecture guidelines and concepts
  • You will help building secure interfaces between internal and external architectures (e.g. hybrid cloud environments)
  • You will perform security assessments and provide suggestions to improve Cyber Security
  • You will help design and implement cyber security relevant processes (e.g. Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, Security Incident Management)
  • You will be responsible for delivering high quality results on time and on budget
  • You will strive to maintain security standards to achieve continuous high satisfaction
  • You use your knowledge to ensure that high-quality and value-added solutions are deployed and you know that you can only achieve this by working closely with business colleagues

Qualifications

  • Cyber security or IT related degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • You bring along proven expertise of Cyber Security best practices and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27000 family) and ideally, basic knowledge with SAP Security and Compliance Frameworks
  • You have a distinct ability to work in collaborative and cross-functional teams
  • You understand how Cyber attackers think and act, you know how to simulate Cyber Security threats and how to derive adequate protection measures from the results
  • You are proactive, a Self-starter who is self-sufficient and able to work with minimum supervision
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willing to accept challenges and probing different ways to find practical and effective solutions
  • You are fluent in English and German (C1 level)
