Master thesis in the field of “Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for modeling and control of injection molding processes” (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Implementation of models for online adaptation of machine setting data on edge devices
• Optimization of models for online quality prediction
• Validation of various approaches to machine control

Qualifications

• Master of Science study in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering, plastics engineering or related fields
• Very good practical experience in at least one of the following areas: Machine Learning, Control Engineering, Software Engineering
• Very good knowledge and programming experience in Python
• Experience with edge computing
• Knowledge of injection molding or OPC UA interfaces is desirable
• Commitment, flexibility, initiative and creativity
