Intern (f/m/d) in Corporate Controlling & Accounting with focus on Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), duration of assignment: min. 3 months

Responsibilities

  • Support in the implementation of new reporting requirements due to EU regulations regarding Sustainability Reporting (CSRD):
  • Evaluation and follow-up of the development of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
  • Analysis of EU requirements regarding the EU environmental taxonomy (EU regulation, FAQ documents, technical literature etc.)
  • Preparation and participation in workshops
  • Collaboration in the preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Collaboration in the preparation and analysis of monthly reporting
  • Maintenance and further development of reporting and accounting guidelines
  • Support in the preparation of presentations for management

Qualifications

  • Degree in business administration, economics or industrial engineering with focus on finance, controlling or accounting, preferably mandatory internship
  • Initial practical experience, e.g. in the context of internships at auditing firms, management consultancies or in the areas of sustainability strategy, sustainability reporting helpful
  • Interest in business management issues
  • Sound analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Independent, responsible working style combined with very good English skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Commitment, ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility
