Intern (f/m/d) in Corporate Controlling & Accounting with focus on Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), duration of assignment: min. 3 months
Responsibilities
- Support in the implementation of new reporting requirements due to EU regulations regarding Sustainability Reporting (CSRD), f.e.: Evaluation and follow-up of the development of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), Analysis of EU requirements regarding the EU environmental taxonomy (EU regulation, FAQ documents, technical literature etc.), Preparation and participation in workshops
- Collaboration in the preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Collaboration in the preparation and analysis of monthly reporting
- Maintenance and further development of reporting and accounting guidelines
- Support in the preparation of presentations for management
Qualifications
- Degree in business administration, economics or industrial engineering with focus on finance, controlling or accounting, preferably mandatory internship
- Initial practical experience, e.g. in the context of internships at auditing firms, management consultancies or in the areas of sustainability strategy, sustainability reporting helpful
- Interest in business management issues
- Sound analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Independent, responsible working style combined with very good English skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Commitment, ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility
