Process Engineer Carrier Part Pre-treatment (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Development of new machine and technology concepts, automatic systems and their standardization
  • Determination of optimal tools, processes and production parameters already at the inquiry stage
  • Collaboration in prototype production and pre-series production on systems, machines and tools
  • Industrialization of prototype processes in constructive cooperation with the APQP team - implementation of lessons learned in series process
  • Supervision of commissioning, qualification and series start-up of equipment up to handover to production within the APQP process
  • Preparation of PPAP documents PFMEA, PAP, setting data sheets, work instruction including training during implementation of new processes and equipment
  • Further development of manufacturing cells and processes with regard to innovative automation solutions
  • Project management of interdisciplinary teams in the preparation of specifications, procurement, modification and conversion of equipment with a focus on coating
  • Process engineering lead for coating processes and equipment
  • Identification, analysis and optimization of process and technology weaknesses

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed technical studies with focus on mechanical engineering, mechatronics and/or plastics technology
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the plastics (ideally elastomer processing) industry in the field of automation technology
  • Knowledge of the quality standards of the automotive and automotive supplier industry (TS 16949)
  • Experience in (multi-) project management as project manager
  • Intensive networking, strong communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
