Apprentice Machine and Plant Operator

Responsibilities

• As a machine and plant operator, you are the linchpin of these almost vital machines
• In this job, you set up production machines and production lines, put them into operation and usually also operate them
• If there is an innovation on the market, you are also responsible for retrofitting these machines and, of course, for their maintenance
• During the two-year apprenticeship as a machine and plant operator, you work in the apprenticeship workshop and in production, where you get to know machines and production lines down to the smallest detail

Qualifications

• Care is particularly important in this profession
• A high degree of diligence is very important, especially when production machines stands still or you have to monitor this process
• Since this is a technical apprenticeship, basic knowledge of physics and an interest in technology and working methods are of course indispensable
• You should have a good main school leaving certificate and it is particularly important to us that you enjoy working in a team
