Payroll Accountant (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for carrying out monthly payroll accounting for a defined group of employees, including batch processing of test and live payroll runs, plus all preparatory and follow-up work
  • You are in charge of maintaining, checking and archiving payroll-relevant personnel data as well as batch imports of transaction data with the software used
  • You oversee the preparation, implementation and monitoring of payroll accounting and the certification and reporting system
  • You advise and support managers and employees on all tax and social security issues
  • You correspond independently with public authorities, social security institutions and tax authorities
  • Your tasks also include looking after the company pension scheme and providing support in time management and access control
  • You participate in task-specific project activities

Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed your (commercial) training, optionally with further training as a personnel specialist, or have a similar qualification
  • You have sound, practical professional experience in payroll accounting in an industrial company
  • You have good knowledge of tax and social security law
  • You are also familiar with a time management system, knowledge of the PAISY payroll software is an advantage
  • You are familiar with the use of MS Office
  • Your personality is characterized by a high level of social competence, strong communication skills and a pronounced ability to work in a team
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken German (C1) and a good command of English
