Market Development Manager (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Implement actions from business plans and market strategies regarding global, regional and important local accounts
  • Participate and lead product and service launches, incl. sales tools and marketing documents
  • Develop and drive business with defined global accounts to obtain approvals, first fill business, recommendations and references
  • Oversee management of relevant regional accounts
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies for global and relevant regional accounts
  • Follow up on opportunities generated worldwide, promoting multiplication
  • Analyze market information and monitor competitors
  • Develop strong network and partnership with internal technical departments
  • Initiate product benchmark tests, communicate the results, and convert them into selling arguments
  • Participate in the design of new services and place them in the market
  • Identify potential new markets/ applications for Klüber evaluate possibilities, and develop business

Qualifications

  • Science degree (mechanical engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering) or equivalent skills
  • Preferably Master’s degree in Business
  • High level of self-motivation and willingness to learn
  • Experience in sales and/ or marketing
  • Experience as Key Account Manager or Technical Key Account Manager at major Food machinery manufacturers
  • Experience in mechanical engineering,chemistry, tribology, lubrication systems, services
  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage Industry and related regulations preferred
  • Professional English language mandatory, German language desirable
  • Team player with excellent networking and communication skills
  • Resilient profile, able to cope with stress and challenges
  • Capable of working in a complex environment keeping a high motivation level
  • Business-minded personality with customer-oriented attitude and deep technical understanding of our products and customer applications
  • Strategic thinking with a strong ambition to achieve set goals
  • Persuasive, with willingness to lead a team in a matrix organization
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30% of time)
