Health and Safety Officer KLM (f/m/d)
Responsibilities
- Advising and supporting the site manager and line functions in the fulfillment of legal and internal company requirements and (legal) requirements with regard to safety, environmental protection, health protection and sustainability
- Monitoring the legal requirements and their changes and processing as well as passing on the relevant information to the site manager and the line functions
- Continuous improvement and further development of the site's culture with regard to safety, environmental awareness, health protection and sustainability
- Development, maintenance and administration of the management system for safety, health and environmental protection and performance of internal audits at various Klüber Lubrication sites
- Communication and cooperation with other HSE functions (global or local) in the company, as well as with external bodies (company doctor, authorities, professional associations, etc.) in consultation with the supervisor
- Professional management of safety officers, first aiders and fire protection assistants in HSE matters, organization of their training and ensuring the necessary number of trained employees.
- Carrying out HSE inspections, tours and audits as well as evaluations of facilities, technical equipment and working methods and preparing the resulting reports
Qualifications
- Technical or scientific degree or comparable training and additional professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in relevant fields of work (e.g. production, maintenance, process development, HSE) in companies in the chemical industry
- Training and certification as an occupational safety specialist desirable
- Very good communication skills in German and English
- Very good MS Office skills required and knowledge of SAP (PP) desirable
- Team spirit and competence in cross-hierarchical cooperation and communication
- High level of personal responsibility, self-motivation and self-organization
