You support our team as

Application Engineer Fuel Cell Heavy Duty (f/m/d)


  • Main technical contact for our strategic customers in the maritime and/or truck & bus sector and coordinator between the internal departments
  • Application consulting at the customer's site and project-specific design of fuel cell systems and their hybridization with battery systems
  • Technical support for customers from RFQ, over sampling and approval processes up to joint program launch and series usage
  • Development and maintenance of the relevant contacts at the customer with a focus on the departments Technology & Innovation, R&D, etc.
  • Support of the internal development roadmap of fuel cell systems for true heavy-duty applications including their hybridization with battery systems up to series production
  • Initiation of VA/VE measures to reduce costs, including support for customers in subsequent validations


  • Joy in helping to shape our growth phase in the field of sustainable technologies and willingness to break new ground with customers
  • Completed studies as an (electrical, chemical or mechanical) engineer (Dipl. -Ing. / Master's degree) or a comparable education
  • Professional experience as an "Application Engineer" or as a "Developer" in the field of fuel cell technology, alternatively battery systems
  • Very good technical understanding & willingness for further training in the relevant specialist areas
  • Fluent communication skills in English and interest in direct customer contact
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
