Head of the logistics department in Maisach

Responsibilities

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the labeling area in the warehouse
  • Proper and efficient implementation of global secondary labeling in accordance with legal and customer-specific requirements and the Klüber standard
  • Maintenance and repair of machines and printers
  • Checking and passing on the labeled goods
  • Monitoring of the warehouse KPIs for the shipping volume and ensuring the required delivery reliability, deriving measures for improvement
  • Optimization of work processes taking into account lean management methods and procedures, as well as business principles
  • Coordination of the procedures with upstream and downstream processes in order to guarantee a holistic process flow
  • Close coordination with adjacent specialist departments
  • Support with projects within logistics
  • Representation of the divisional management in the area of LOG DC
  • Leadership of employees in the labeling area in accordance with the Klüber principles of leadership and cooperation

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in logistics, as an industrial engineer or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of logistics, with a focus on warehouse logistics
  • Best practice experience in intra and extra logistics
  • Very good IT skills, especially SAP
  • Process and solution-oriented way of thinking
  • Several years of experience in personnel management
  • Above-average commitment, "hands-on mentality"
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean Management / Six Sigma methodology
  • Team orientation and social skills
  • very good knowledge of English
  • High stress stability
  • Bonus of up to 5.000€ if a valid ZÜP certification is available
