Quality Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the enforcement, monitoring and seamless implementation of all quality assurance measures (tests, documentation, product audits).
  • You take care of defining and implementing all product-related quality assurance measures with the goal of zero defects.
  • You will take care of the implementation of the defined and customer-agreed APQP process for products that are manufactured in Hamburg during the start-up phase, in cooperation with the respective project manager and the process engineers.
  • You will handle customer complaints, implementation, control of corrective actions and documentation.
  • You take on the continuous error analysis (customer claims, rejects) including the agreement of corrective measures with the goal of zero errors.
  • You provide support for internal and external audits (system, process, product).

Qualifications

  • You have a degree in engineering or adequate technical training
  • You already have several years of professional experience in quality management
  • You ideally have gained experience in the automotive industry
  • You have relevant specialist knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Statistics, VDA 2, VDA 6.3 and process audits
  • You have good written and spoken German and English skills
  • You are confident in dealing with MS Office products and SAP R3
