Application Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • You take over the basic technical layout and the derivation of design, material and test specifications with a focus on passenger car air springs.
  • You coordinate the production of prototypes and the test planning and execution of static and dynamic component tests.
  • As part of a global team, you coordinate all technical interfaces that have an impact on the design, function and quality of the product.
  • You establish yourself as the central contact for relevant technical functions at the customer.
  • You hold technical presentations and also guide our suppliers through the development process.

Qualifications

  • You have a degree (Bachelor's/Master's) in engineering, ideally with a focus on mechanical engineering or automotive engineering.
  • You have already gained knowledge of the development process in the automotive industry and have several years of professional experience in a similar area.
  • You ideally have experience in project management.
  • You have excellent communication skills and convert customer requests into optimal product solutions.
  • You have good written and spoken German and English skills.
