Apprentice Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) 2022

Responsibilities

  • Your work areas include series, individual and small series production, mainly on computer-controlled machine tools (CNC). The assembly and maintenance of the machines and systems, especially of the test systems, are also part of your tasks. We train you in metalworking and show you how modern production works. The training lasts 3.5 years.
  • Reading, using and creating technical documents
  • Manual machining, cutting, forming and mechanical and thermal joining
  • Selection of tools, clamping and testing equipment, auxiliary and operating materials
  • Setting up and working with drilling, turning, milling and grinding machines
  • Creation and optimization of programs for computer-controlled machine tools (CNC) and machining centers
  • Machining with CNC machines: Production of complex workpieces on CNC machines and machining centers
  • Checking and securing the production quality through visual, dimensional, shape and position controls; Recognition of production disruptions and quality defects
  • Maintenance of work and operating equipment; Assembly of components and assemblies
  • Construction and testing of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
  • Detection, limitation and repair of errors and malfunctions
  • Learning the business processes and quality assurance systems in the area of operation

Qualifications

  • Excellent German language skills and a valid work permit for Germany
  • Qualifying secondary school diploma, "Mittlere Reife"
  • Interest in technology, mathematics and physics
